“The Christmas Spirits on Tradd Street” with NYT bestselling author Karen White

NY Times bestselling author Karen White’s newest novel, “The Christmas Spirits on Tradd Street”, sixth in a series of seven in her popular Tradd Street series, debuts this October 22nd at the Newnan Carnegie!

Karen will speak at the Newnan Carnegie Library (1 LaGrange St. on Newnan’s historic town square) beginning with a “Meet and Greet Coffee” followed by her presentation and book signing starting at 10:00 am. This event is free and open to the public.

When the novel begins in Melanie’s characteristically witty voice, the Christmas atmosphere is festive, and Melanie has volunteered to decorate her house and host one of the dinner courses for a fundraiser in her beautiful historic home on Tradd Street in Charleston, SC. But heavy rains have uncovered a centuries-old cistern in the backyard of Melanie and husband Jack’s home so that Melanie becomes “much too preoccupied with spirits other than the Christmas kind.” The excavation of this historic relic brings new ghosts onto the property, spirits with needs to right past wrongs and important information. . It is a distinctive story in which Melanie learns the significance of trust.

Karen White’s books have been nominated for numerous national prizes including the SIBA (Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance) Fiction Book of the Year, and she has twice won the National Readers’ Choice Award. Many of her 25 novels have appeared on various bestseller lists: The New York Times, along with top rankings on the NYT ebook list, Bookscan, and USA Today.

“Karen White is a queen of atmospheric Southern fiction, and nowhere is that more apparent than in her Tradd Street series.”—Bustle
